No, the second gen Tacoma is not supposed to have that crease or dimple.

The guy responsible got back in his car and sped off. The other guy (who I would not call a victim or innocent) was too fucked up to run and was detained.

The fleer is friends with my neighbor, who said “the damage was already there before.” I had choice words for him and said if his friends show up and so much as crosses the street again, there would be consequences.

Police said it was minor damage and was not reportable for them because it was minor and unintentional. Good old Everett PD.

They were within inches of falling into the good pickup, too. So there’s something to be positive about. The SR5 still looks good.

It is a company vehicle, so a cent will not come out of my pocket, but now I get to show up to appointments in a crisp white base Taco with a glaring crease in the meantime. I work hard to keep that thing nice.

First sunny day and everyone goes ape shit.

If the guy comes back around, I think he should help you put a nice blood-red stripe on the front of the truck. Yes, that should balance out the look nicely. Wonder if the Everett police would consider that significant enough to warrant attention.

In NY, Even if it’s unintentional i.e. “Reckless” and over a certain dollar value, it’s still an arrestable offense. I’m confident that this is the case in pretty much any other state in the US and most of Canada as well.

I’d get an estimate and if said estimate for damage is over the amount, head down to the local precinct with a copy of said estimate, and pursue charges.

A couple of druggies moved in across the street from my mom. After they moved in, traffic increased substantially, the dogs in the neighborhood started barking at night and there was a rash of burglaries in the neighborhood, including my mom’s storage shed. She keeps a BIG dog in the house who has a strong instinct for protection

A year or so later, the two druggies got into a fight and one stabbed the other. The one who was stabbed escaped into the woods where he died from a combination of his wounds and hypothermia. He was found the next morning.

With one druggie dead and the other in jail, the neighborhood quieted down again. It seems that the problems caused by consumers of drugs are self-limiting.

I’m trying to figure out where this is, is this the backside of those apartments that took for-fucking-ever to build off Pacific Ave? I think it was actually North of Pacific. The developer used it as his way to get his EB-5 visa cause that’s what you do when you’re filthy rich.

Sucks. Good ole Everett. I’m thinking of moving back, cause even with the crack heads, it’s better than downtown Seattle where I moved to.
